The Ski Resorts of Oregon

The 12 ski areas in Oregon’s offer a range of skiing and snowboarding opportunities. And not just for alpine skiing; there are terrain parks, snow shoeing trails and snow parks for tubing. There is even summer skiing on Mt Hood.

Anthony Lakes Ski Area

Anthony Lakes has the highest base elevation of the ski areas in Oregon  at 7,100 feet and has a reputation for light, dry snow.

Cat Ski Mt. Bailey

Mt. Bailey is a specialist snowcat skiing area. There's only one cat operating on it's 6,000 acres so you'll be enjoying a unique experience.

Cooper Spur

Cooper Spur is aimed at families which an emphasis on learning to ski. Parents can observe the entire area while children explore this 50-acre winter playground.

Hoodoo

Hoodoo's day and night skiing is on the deep and challenging powder of the backside and the groomed runs on the front side. There's also the Autobahn Tube Hill.

Mt. Ashland

Mt. Ashland is conveniently located eight miles off Interstate 5, southwest of Ashland. Mt. Ashland has the second highest base elevation of the ski areas in Oregon, and its trails are easily accessed by four chairlifts.

Mt. Bachelor

Mt Bachelor is the highest resort in the Pacific Northwestwith some of the driest and lightest snow found in the region. Mt. Bachelor has offered a unique wilderness skiing experience for over 50 years. There are eleven lifts, seven of which are high speed quads.

Mt. Hood Meadows

Meadows is the largerof the two Mt. Hoodski areas. There are 2,150 acres of terrainserved by 5 high speed quads. A further twelve chairliftscomplete the access to a wide variety of terrain.

Mt. Hood Skibowl

Mt. Hood Skibowl is the largest night ski area in the USA with 34 lit runs, a boarding halfpipe and a terrain garden.

Spout Springs

Spout springs has just two lifts and is a day out rather than a ski resort.

Timberline

Timberline is open 12 months of the year, the only ski area in the USA with this claim. Timverline has some of Oregon's most scenic skiing on 3,590 vertical feet.

Warner Canyon

Warner Canyon is a mecca for powder hounds with some of Oregon's best powder snow. Lift queues are rare and the wide-open slopes are good for beginners, intermediates, advanced skiers and snowboarders alike.

Willamette Pass

Willamette claims a big mountain experience with a small family feel on steep, deep tree runs and mellow cruisers.
