Airport Parking & Hotels

Many wintersport holidaymakers find it easier to drive to the airport so why not book airport parking with APH. Booking ahead gives you a wider choice of options: from great value park and ride to VIP 'Meet & Greet'. Or maybe travel to the airport the day before your flight and spend a relaxing evening in an airport hotel (packaged with parking). To kick start your holiday in style why not add a VIP lounge? Or to save time once you arrive in your ski resort pre-book your ski lift pass and wintersports equipment hire. Pre-booking gives you the widest choice and saves you money and time.
AIRPORT PARKING
APH sells airport parking at 18 UK Airports from Aberdeen to Edinburgh, Gatwick to Glasgow and Bristol to Birmingham with more than 50 different ways to park at the airport. Think about the 'Meet & Greet' service - if you are in a hurry or have lots of luggage - where you are met at the airport terminal by a professional driver who takes your car and parks it in a secure car park. If you are driving straight to an APH car park you will be well looked after by friendly reception staff and drivers who are happy to load your luggage before transporting you to the airport quickly and efficiently onboard modern vehicles. On your return our professional staff are on hand should you have any problems with punctures or dead batteries which can happen during the winter months.
Parking can be booked far in advance up tot the day before you go and if done through APH you can save pounds compared to simply turning up at the airport. The best prices are usually available the earlier you book.
Example costs*:
Seven days parking at APH’s off-airport car park at Gatwick costs £40.80
Seven days parking at NCP Short Stay South Terminal costs £84.40
(*prices correct at time of writing, prices vary according to availability.)

If you are bringing your car you can pack all you desire from skis to boots and jumpers to jackets safe in the knowledge that you will not have to struggle with lots of luggage on public transport. However, it may be wise to visit APH's excess baggage guide in advance to check how much you can take with you.
The parking options designed to suit your needs, include:
• Self Park – typically known as “long stay” – you find a space, park your car, lock it, take your keys and find a bus stop to get a lift to the terminal.
• Secure Parking – you arrive at the car park in the arrival zone. Check in and hand your keys to the professional staff and hop on the bus to the airport, safe in the knowledge that your car is parked in one of our secure car parks many of which hold the Safer Parking Award for security (endorsed by APCO).
NB: Some rogue traders operate second rate services promoted on independent websites. Be assured that APH only works with approved and fully insured operators.
Car security
Security is important to everyone, but how it is achieved can be a matter of personal preference. Some drivers are happier, parking and locking up their own car in essentially a public car park at an airport, usually the vehicle is covered on the driver’s insurance. Others prefer to leave their car parking to a professional firm who take care of the keys and leave the car in a secure compound covered by CCTV with no public access - in this case the car parking firm covers the insurance. APH offers both options.
HOTELS
For those early morning flights or to start your holiday mood a day early, why not book an airport hotel, to allow an extra hour or two under the covers to preserve precious energy for hitting the ski slopes? A wide range of 3 and 4 star hotels can be booked at 24 locations across the UK. Hotel and parking packages often cost just a small amount more than parking alone and ensure great value for money.

AIRPORT LOUNGES
Airport lounges are a great way to get your holiday off to a VIP start. These havens of tranquillity are available at 18 UK airports and from just £16.50 per person you can help yourself to complimentary tea, coffee, pastries and magazines or a nervous flyer can enjoy a free alcoholic beverage to help steady the nerves.
SKI EXTRAS
Save queuing in your chosen ski resort by booking ski equipment and ski lift passes in advance through www.aph.com. Lift passes can be booked online for 50 major ski resorts in Europe, US and Canada saving skiers and boarders up to 30% on “on the day” prices. Lift passes start at £76 for six days in France.
Ski equipment can be booked ahead for over 125 ski resorts in Europe, USA and Canada, which helps save money on baggage charges on low cost airlines. Simply order online and collect the gear once in the ski resort ensuring extra time on the ski slopes and no queuing on day one. Ski and board equipment is available for all levels from beginners to advanced. Prices start at just £39 for six days ski equipment hire in France.
HOLIDAY TAXIS
To avoid congested transfers on an overfull bus or coach then why not book a ski holiday taxi through APH to take you and your party from the arrival airport to your ski resort. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred in a private taxi to your ski destination. On the return you will be collected and transferred to the airport - cutting the hassle of battling for a seat on the transfer bus.
