We have a sensible Sunday mid-morning flight from Gatwick, a specialist knowledge of Val d'Isère and its ski area, and an attention to detail second to none.
The food we serve is as good as in any of the resort's top restaurants, and YSE's staff are consistently the best trained and most closely supervised in Val d'Isère.

Skiing in Val d’Isère
YSE offers only Val d’Isère, considered by many to be the world’s best ski resort.
It has an impressive snow record and more than 300km of pistes for skiers of all abilities, from free nursery slopes for beginners, to seriously steep black runs through the trees for experts, as well as world-renowned off-piste possibilities.
A YSE Chalet for You
YSE has a range of 26 chalets of varying sizes and levels of comfort, so there is almost certainly one which will suit you and your group. You can also book as an individual, a couple or just a pair of friends - no need to be part of a big party.
Our top chalets are extremely comfortable, and most offer a blend of granite and old wood, bottomless sofas and hand-made curtains. Although seriously luxurious, they are not horribly expensive, particularly if you come outside school holidays.
However, not all skiers want a top chalet, so we also have a selection of cheaper chalets - including some which are distinctly modest - in which we provide the same service, same food and same wine as in our top places, only the building itself will not be quite so top-of-the-range.
Food and Wine
What is definitely top-grade is the food we serve in all our chalets, across the board. In fact, food is an obsession with YSE!Most guests wouldn’t blame us if it snowed every day or their friends turned out to be better skiers than them, but if dinner weren’t the
perfect end to the day, they
wouldn’t come with us again.
We serve a substantial breakfast,
afternoon tea, and in the evening, canapés followed by a three-course, dinner-party-style meal, with unlimited French wine.
Over 70% of bookings are made by former YSE guests or their friends, and this success can be attributed to having properly-trained chalet staff, good food, and top-notch service. We run the longest and most thorough staff training in the business.
