St Anton's new Galzigbahn lift station speaks volumes about the resort's commitment to the ultimate mountain experience. St. Anton has excellent terrain for advanced and intermediate skiers and boarders, including a wealth of opportunity off-piste. The new Galzigbahn means that beginners now have the option of an easier and faster lift down in place of the old cable car or having to ski intermediate runs from Galzig down to the village. There's no shortage of enjoyable mountain restaurants and plenty of good après ski (albeit quieter than it used to be) on the lower runs and in the village where there's a good choice of accommodation. The Arlberg ski area and lift pass also includes the villages of St Christoph, Stuben and nearby ski resorts Lech and Zurs.

The Main Event
