Crystal Ski Report Shows Slowdown of Growth11-04-08
The Crystal Holidays? 2007 Ski Industry Report has shown an increase in the number of visitors to ski resorts for a sixth year in a row. However, the increase is considerably less than in previous years, with the memory of last year?s poor snowfall acting as a deterrent to potential skiers. The report shows France remains the top destination for British skiers, followed by Austria and Italy, whilst Scandinavian and Canadian ski have increased in popularity. Austria, meanwhile, suffered a slight decline in visitor numbers given its low altitude and risk of poor snowfall, though that hasn?t proven to be the case.
