Grandvalira , Andorra?s largest ski area, has reported a 12 per cent increase in business last season from the 2006-07 season. There were 1,512,000 skier days in the area last year, largely due to the excellent snow conditions. Early season snowfall was very promising, allowing the resort to open on 24th November, and snow continued to fall periodically throughout the season, making for not only a successful season but a long one. In fact, there was still a metre of snow during the ski area?s closing weekend.
