Idaho Resorts Enjoy Successful Season 29-03-08

Although most of America?s ski resorts have enjoyed good seasons this year, resorts in Idaho have been something of a hotspot with good snowfall and high visitor numbers. The extremely high snowfall in December, January and February have allowed resorts such as Sun Valley to extend its season, alongside less well known resorts such as Brundage Mountain.

Parts of Idaho have as much as 180 inches of snow, meaning resorts have been particularly active in trying to attract visitors this season. Schweitzer Mountain in northern Idaho has conducted advertising campaigns across America, as evidenced by an increase in North American visitors.

Despite their success, Idaho?s resorts are continuing to invest. Brundage Mountain is set to improve its accommodation facilities this summer, whilst others continue to make improvements to on mountain facilities such as lifts and snowmaking.
