Keystone is to install a new eight passenger gondola in time for next season. The Colorado based resort is to replace the six seater River Run Gondola giving skiers greater access to the runs higher up the mountain. The gondola will follow the same alignment as the existing gondola, with the top terminal staying at the same point at the summit of Dercum Mountain. The bottom terminal of the gondola, however, will be moved into the River Run Village, improving gondola access.
There will be a new mid station located halfway up Dercum Mountain with passengers able to board the gondola in either direction. Passengers will find a panoramic view on offer in the gondola with floor to ceiling windows.
