The Pakistani ski resort of Malam Jabba has been attacked by Islamic fundamentalists. It is reported that the Islamic militants set fire to a hotel, causing severe damage. It is a blow to the resort, which is Pakistan’s only international standard ski resort, and had once been a leading all year round tourist definition due to its natural beauty. Winter activities in Malam Jabba have only been offered for roughly a decade, with two chairlifts operating in the entire resort.
