The Ski Time Square in Steamboat is to be demolished later this week as the redevelopment project begins. The Atira Group is developing Ski Time Square and Thunderhead Lodge on behalf of Cafritz Interests which purchased the properties in the area last year. However, with construction not expected to begin until 2009, the area will be used for special police training until then.
Furnishings are to be sold as of Thursday, prior to the demolition of buildings at Thunderhead Lodge. The company have assured residents that they are taking the appropriate measures to limit disruption to the area.
