A small area at the top of Aspen Mountain is to be opened for summer skiing this weekend, the Aspen Skiing Company have announced. The mountain?s upper slopes still has an estimated metre of snow, which skiers and boarders can take advantage of from Friday to Sunday between 10am and 1pm. For an adult price of $29, 45 acres of terrain is on offer, accessible via the Silver Queen gondola and Ajax Express chairlift.
