An annual survey from the Australian Alpine Club has revealed that Australian alpine resorts have the most expensive ski lift passes in the world. New South Wales? Perisher Blue ski resort is the most expensive of Australia?s resorts with a daily lift pass priced at $98. Vail is America?s most expensive resort in terms of lift passes, though is $6 cheaper than Perisher Blue, whilst St Moritz?s daily lift pass is priced at $77, making it Europe?s most expensive resort.
However, Perisher Blue has criticised the report, stating it doesn?t take account of multi-day passes, the higher set up costs in Australia or value for money
