Mont-Sainte-Anne / Skiing & boarding

The skiing is spread over three sides, with breathtaking scenery at every turn. The St. Lawrence River flows to the south and the impressive Laurentians are to the north. With 13 lifts serving 63 trails, there are never any lines and two of the lifts are covered, which is a bonus in the very cold winter months.
In a special beginners’ area, beginners have a magic carpet and two other surface lifts that are free of charge for everyone at all times, for both those learning and those helping. There’s a long beginner trail from the summit of the mountain to the base, which means that beginners can also enjoy the tremendous views over the St. Lawrence River. Intermediates have 20 percent of the trails for their enjoyment, all well groomed and some long. Most of the blue trails join up with each other. The famous expert trails cover about a half of the mountain and they are what has made Mont-Sainte-Anne famous. Watch your step, as the double blacks can be surprisingly steep. Off-piste skiing and boarding is allowed on the west side of the mountain.

Night skiing and boarding takes place daily from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm on 17 lit trails, covering nine miles (15 km)—an unforgettable experience as they  provide the highest vertical for night skiing in Canada.

There are three terrain parks, open to both skiers and boarders. The one on La Grande Allée trail is 0.6 mile (1 km) long, and off Le Court Vallon trail is a 1,900-foot (579-m) boardercross course. This fun park features obstacles, tabletops, and jumps. There is also a groomed halfpipe and a slopestyle course. Snowboarders have access to all trails and world-class boarders visit the resort every season for the F.I.S. Snowboard World Cup.

A free guiding service by experienced mountain hosts is offered daily at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm, from the top of the mountain. There’s also a team of 200 certified ski and snowboard instructors who provide private and group lessons for all levels. Disabled skiers are taught by C.A.D.S certified instructors and special equipment is provided free of charge.

Full-day lift passes cost Cdn$53 for adults (18–64), Cdn$40 for teens (13–17) and seniors (65 ), and Cdn$28 for children (7–12), with sixes and under skiing free. A five-day pass costs Cdn$242 adults (18–64), Cdn$182 for teens (13–17) Cdn$196 seniors (65 ), and Cdn$127 for children (7–12). The Carte-Blanche multipass allows skiers and boarders to ski at Stoneham and Le Massif.
