The Pierre Alexis, hidden up a narrow
side street of the Via Roma, is an excellent restaurant serving
traditional Italian dishes as well as several glasses of free sparkling
wine as an aperitif. The best pizza in town comes from Du Tunnel, where
thin pizzas the size of dustbin lids are the norm. Across the other
side the valley the Baita Hermitage serves good food and is also very
popular for late afternoon drinking from February onwards when its sun
terrace comes into its own.
