Mürren is car-free, reached by a funicular and train ride, or two cable cars. Where you stay in the village determines which mode is best - the train station is to the north of the village and the cable car is at the opposite end. That in turn determines which car park or train stop you use down in the valley.
Arriving by car in the valley there is no helpful information other signs for car parks and train stations so it’s best to contact your hotel in advance for advice.
Airports: Geneva (transfer time 2.5 hours road and 3 to 4 hours rail) and Zurich (transfer time 2.5 hours road and 2.5 to 3 hours rail). Transfers from Berne airport are not much over an hour, but there are fewer international flights.
