The Schweizer Skischule St. Moritz and the Suvretta Snowsports
School are the main options for ski school. Despite abundant terrain,
the off piste experience is not one the resort is trying to promote.
The resulting solitude can be explored with local guides from The St.
Moritz Experience AG or Bergsteigerschule Pontresina.
Heli-skiing is
not allowed in the Engadin (other than the bizarre piste-only version
by ‘heli-shuttle’), but you can arrange to do the real thing in nearby
Italy with www.airgrischa.ch or www.helibernina.ch.
