SKI Magazine has voted Mammoth Sports School as one of the top ten ski
and snowboard schools in North America. Lessons are available from each
of the service areas on the mountain, and from Main and Canyon Lodges.
Group lessons are at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm and the upper limit on ski
group size is eight people. Children should be at least four years old
for a group lesson, and they can be either supervised at lunchtime or
collected by parents. Special camps and lessons are offered for advanced skiers wanting to improve
in challenging snow conditions. Skiing for people with disabilities is
also available. Local volunteers undertake free tours of the ski area.
