Mammoth Mountain, CA

Mammoth Mountain

Mammoth has consistently been voted one of the top ski and snowboard destinations in North America. It has one of the longest seasons anywhere in the world, opening from early November to June. In the middle of the Inyo National Forest, on the edge of wilderness, Mammoth might be a bit isolated, but with over 300 days of sunshine per year and 3,500 skiable acres (1,400 ha), it's practically guaranteed that you'll have a great vacation here.
