Park City

The choice of après-ski near the slopes is limited, but Park City itself has many restaurants and bars.

There’s not a huge choice for après-ski at the actual resort, but Park City itself is bursting with restaurants and bars. Legends Après Ski Bar in Legacy Lodge has a large fireplace, live music, a well-stocked bar and appetizers, and is as popular with locals as with visitors. The new Brewhouse, on the second floor of Legacy Lodge, is a sports bar where you can sit back and enjoy the views or watch the latest sports triumphs on the wide-screen T.V.

Utah’s strict licensing laws eased a little around Park City when the 2002 Winter Olympics were staged, but restaurants must still serve food in order to sell alcohol and you must become a temporary member of a late-night club in order to drink alcohol. The minimum age for consuming alcohol is 21 years and children are not allowed in bars, although they can go to restaurants serving alcohol. Bars in Park City tend to close around 1:00 am.
