Originally a mining town, founded in the mid-19th century, Park City is
now a popular, busy tourist resort, and Park City Mountain Resort is
located right in the heart of it. Main Street, with restaurants, bars,
boutiques, and art galleries, is a great spot for après-ski or lunch on
a day off.
A new town bridge spanning Park Avenue means that skiers and
snowboarders can now ski or ride directly from the mountain to Main
Street. Park City’s free skier-friendly shuttle bus system runs every
20 minutes and can take you from the hotels, restaurants and stores in
Park City to the slopes and Deer Valley.
