Snowbird is the closest ski resort to Salt Lake City, located 25 miles (40 km) southeast of it, and one of the most accessible in the U.S. Salt Lake International Airport is 29 miles (46 km) away, 45 minutes by road. There are over 700 daily non-stop flights from and to most major U.S. cities. Flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas take around two hours, those from the East Coast around four hours.
