There are two beginner lifts, a magic carpet and surface lift
that provide first-day beginners with a chance to work on improving
skills. The High Meadow and Saddleback areas are best for beginners and
the terrain offered here is varied enough to challenge most beginners.
The other lift easily accessible from here is the Saddleback Express,
which gives beginners a bit more choice, although these are all blue
trails.
