Calgary is the nearest major international airport, and about four and half hours’ drive away. Getting to Revelstoke by car from Calgary and other international airports is very time consuming, so taking a connecting flight from Calgary, Vancouver and Seattle airports to Kelowna is recommended.

The drive along Highway 1 is renowned for having spectacular scenery, with the valleys of the Okanagan from the west and the glaciers of Rogers Pass from the east.
