Getting to Revelstoke
Getting to Revelstoke is a challenge, but worth the trip. Revelstoke Mountain Resort in the Selkirk Mountains of the interior British Columbia is located approximately 3 miles (5km) south east of downtown Revelstoke. The nearest airport is Kelowna International Airport (192km), a two hour drive from the resort.
The closest major airport is Kelowna (nearly a 3 hour drive). Getting to Revelstoke by car from other “nearest” international airports is a long journey so if you cannot fly direct to Kelowna it’s better to book a connecting flight through the international airports in Vancouver, Calgary or Seattle.

Revelstoke airport has a 1,460m paved runway, terminal and hangar facilities. Charter aircraft and helicopter services are available with a taxi service into town.
Driving to Revelstoke
The drive along Highway 1 is renowned for having spectacular scenery, with the valleys of the Okanagan from the west and the glaciers of Rogers Pass from the east. Care should be taken driving along the steep switchbacks of Rogers Pass, particularly in challenging weather. The Okanagan Valley west of Revelstoke can close after heavy snowfalls due to avalanches. Revelstoke Shuttle Bus Services
A regular free shuttle bus service between downtown and Revelstoke Mountain Resort operates daily during the winter season, departing from 7am and returning from 2pm. If you are commuting from downtown your accommodation concierge can tell you the nearest pick up location.
