Ski Schools in Val di Fassa
With over 100 instructors (including 20 based at Alba-Ciampac) the Canezai Ski School is the biggest in the Valley. Virtually every need is catered for, from childcare right through freestyle lessons in the snow park. For absolute beginners, there is a special area in the middle of Canazei, where the basics are taught. In addition to group and private lessons (for adults and children), there are also lessons available for disabled skiers.
Canazei also has a dedicated Canezai Snowboard School with 12 instructors offering a range of lessons and tours for individuals and groups. They also have an excellent range of tuition for people with physical and mental handicaps.
The Campitello Ski School has over 30 instructors offering a range of private and group lessons – both ski and snowboard – are offered, for adults and children. Beginners choosing to stay in Campitello will love the novices’ area right in the middle of Campitello, which is an ideal way to gain confidence before heading up the mountain.
The Vajolet Ski School in Pozza di Fassa has a spacious beginners’ area in the village of Pozza at Fraine and one of Val di Fassa’s most scenic ski school meeting places on the mountain at Buffaure. The ski school offers an extensive range of tuition, including telemark. Group and private lessons (ski and snowboard) are available for children and adults, including off-piste excursions for more advanced skiers. For the very young the ‘Baby Snow Park’ at Fraine is perfect for children from 3-5 years old.
The 43 instructors of the Vigo di Fassa Ski School teach many disciplines including telemark, snowboarding, ski touring and much more. They also offer tuition for skiers with physical and mental handicaps. The ski school meets at Ciampedie at 2,000 metres in full view of the stunning Rosengarten group of mountains. The plateau at Ciampedie is perfect for classes and is also home to extensive facilities for children, including the Kinderpark. This is perfect for younger skiers (3-5 years) where they can learn to ski and play on the snow, enjoying the inner tube slide, and afternoon snowmobile rides.

Kindergartens / Child Care in Val di Fassa
There are four snow kindergartens in the Val di Fassa for children from 18 months old offering child care, snow play and lessons from about the age of 4 years.
‘Kinderland’ at the Canazei Marmolda Ski School is a nursery for babies from 18 months, kindergarten from 3 and lessons from 4. ‘Tananai Miniclub’ Ciampac, Alba di Canazei (www.tananai.com) offers daycare for children from 3-10 years (nursery from 18 months) with ski school lessons for older siblings organised by the Canazei Marmolada Ski School.
