Samoens
Samoens has a good choice of hotels, chalets and apartments. You can stay close to the Grand Massif Express lift on the southern edge of the resort, or in its historic centre about 800m (0.5 miles) away, or in its suburbs, or up the mountain at Vercland and Samoens 1600. It’s also worth considering the neighbouring village of Morillon and its slope-side suburb at Les Esserts.

CGH Résidences & Spas Les Chalets De Laÿssia (****) ApartHotel with spacious serviced apartments in a complex with indoor swimming pool, children’s pool, sauna, hammam spa, hot tub, gym, private ski lockers and car parking, and a concierge service. Nice lobby area with fireplace. Located in the heart of the Samoens, so the Grand Massif express lift is about 15 to 20 minutes’ walk away but there is a bus stop within 20m of the residence.
CGH Résidences & Spas La Reine des Prés (****) Another CGH operated ApartHotel with spacious apartments in a residence with indoor pool, wellness centre, gym, jacuzzi, games room, concierge service, private parking and ski lockers, children’s pool and play area, but this one is located midway between the Grand Massif Express (330m away) and the Samoens centre, so both are between 5 and 10 mins walk away. There is also a bus stop nearby if you don’t want to walk.
Chalet-Hotel The Originals Neige et Roc (****) family run hotel on the western edge of Samoens so it would be about a twenty minute walk to the Grand Massif Express lift but there is a bus stop close by. The hotel has an indoor pool, games room, sauna, hot tub.
Hotel Les Glaciers (***) Chalet-style hotel, spacious, comfortable, right in the heart of the Samoens. Ski bus stop very close.
Residence La Renardiere (***) ApartHotel in Samoens with pool, sauna hammam, massage, jacuzzi etc. 850m from Grand Massif Express lift but there is a bus stop just outside.
Logis Hotel le Gai Soleil (***) Hotel in centre of Samoens built in chalet style, with fitness centre. Outdoor semi-covered pool is heated all year round.
Lagrange Vacances Les Fermes de Samoëns (***) Semi-detached chalets and apartments set in and around a complex with indoor pool. Just under half a mile walk to the centre of Samoens and just over half a mile walk to the Garnd Massif Express but there is a ski bus stop very close.
La Boule de Niege (**) Simple, good value hotel in Vercland above Samoens, close to the ski lift and bottom of the piste, with a sauna, hammam and fitness centre.
Résidence Odalys Le Buet (**) Slope-side apartment complex half-way up the mountain at Les Esserts above Morillon. Very close to the lift.
Apartment Les Saix. Ski-in,ski-out apartments in Samoens 1600.
Giffre (***). Ski-in, ski-out one bedroom apartment in Samoens 1600 that can fit up to 4 people (but more comfortable for two).
Auberge De Montagne La Table De Fifine. Small, simple hotel, about half way between the centre of Samoens and the Grand Massif Express (both about 10 minutes walk away – but there is a ski bus stop close by).
Chambres d’hôtes de charme Douglas. Highly rated B&B near Samoens centre.
Le Giffre and Clesson (***). Self-catering apartments in a large chalet/aparthotel complex in Samoens within 150m of the Grand Massif Express lift. Has communal games room with table tennis, table football etc.
