The upper limit is six people. To register a child in a group lesson, the child must be at least five years of age and parents may need to show I.D. as proof of their child’s age. Young children are supervised at lunch. Private lessons are also available.

Learning to ski for beginners, intermediate and accomplished skiers

For beginners, Alpine’s “Direct to Parallel” learn-to-ski program starts participants out on mini skis (approximately 70 inches/100 cm in length), which make negotiation easier. Beginners will be skiing down moderate trails by the end of the lesson. Intermediates can take a half-day or full-day refresher focusing on technique, and accomplished skiers can take a guided tour through the open powder fields. Guides can be booked through the private lesson ski-school program. Specialty programs and camps run throughout the season, including a two-day race camp, three-day early season warm-up clinic, a 5-day high-performance clinic, and snowboard camps.
