While good basic skills tuition is offered to those who need it (children especially), the emphasis is mostly on advanced skills, including freestyle, freeride, and telemark, as well as fast-track private lessons for children. A relatively new and, therefore, smaller ski school, Active Snow Team’s ski and snowboard instructors offer instruction in German, French, English and Dutch for every age and ability level, as well as special needs.
The Active Snow Team’s USP includes a strong focus on ski lessons for children, families, and older skiers who may still be fearful and lacking in confidence, as well as technique. Swiss Ski School Engelberg
With 150 qualified ski instructors, the Swiss Ski School Engelberg is the largest ski school in Engelberg. Offering group lessons in skiing and snowboarding for children, teenagers, adults, and all ability levels; also ski kindergarten fun and games in the snow for toddlers aged between 2 and 4 years.
Additionally, private lessons in skiing, telemark, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding are available for up to 3 hours in the morning or afternoon, or a full day (5 to 7 hours of tuition). Also offered are off-piste, ski-touring, and technical ski courses for experienced skiers.
Group lessons for children aged 3-5 years (morning only or full day) are available from Monday to Friday.
