Getting to Meiringen by Rail
It’s an easy and enjoyable journey by rail from Zurich to Meiringen and the railway station exit in Bahnhofplatz, Meiringen, is just a short walk from main street Hauptstrasse which is where most hotels in Meiringen are situated.

Driving to Meiringen-Hasliberg
From Bern follow the A6 motorway towards Thun and Spiez then take the A8 past Interlaken to Meiringen. The scenic route passes along the southern shores of lakes Thunersee and Brienzersee and to drive from the airport in Bern takes around one hour in good conditions.
Form Zurich airport take the Zurich Nordring motorway A1/E41, follow A4/E41/A14 and signs for Luzern, then follow A2/E35/A8 and signs for Interlaken as far as Brunigen then follow the signs for Meiringen. To drive from Zurich airport to Meiringen should take about one hour and a half.
The four Hasliberg villages of Hohfluh, Wasserwendi, Goldern and Reuti (linked to Meiringen by cable car) are spread out along Br?nigen Strasse at intervals of 1-2km. If staying in Hasliberg allow 15-20 minutes to drive 10-16km between Meiringen and Hasliberg.
