Getting to Aspen Snowmass

Visitors to Aspen can fly into Denver International Airport (183 miles away) or Aspen-Pitkin which is also known as ‘Sardy Field’, (3 miles away) or Eagle County which is also known as Eagle-Vail or Vail/Eagle Airport (70 miles away). There are connecting flights from Denver to Aspen-Pitkin and Eagle County, and you can also book transfers by road or hire a car. 

Flying to Aspen / Nearest Airports

Denver International Airport is 183 miles away from Aspen, and the drive typically takes between three and a half hours and  four hours. You can book connecting flights from Denver to Aspen-Pitkin which is the closest airport to the resort but it can only accommodate small jets and turboprops and can close in bad weather; or you can fly onto Eagle County (Vail/Eagle) which is 70 miles away from the resort (about 90 minutes drive), and is more weather-proof and can handle large jets. 

There are also direct services into Eagle County from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Atlanta, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, Houston (George H.W. Bush), Newark, New York (Laguardia), New York (JFK), Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Chicago (O’Hare).
