Located on a quiet side street, the Copper Horse Lodge is a 5 minute walk from the Kicking Horse village and the Golden Eagle Express gondola. The lodge features an on-site restaurant – Corks, a wine bar featuring hearty fare and big bodied wines. All of the Kicking Horse restaurants and bars are within a 5 minute walk, with the Winston Lodge’s excellent restaurant just next door.

All rooms include free Wifi, satellite TV with DVD player, iPod docking station, refrigerator and hairdryer. All rooms enjoy mountain views, though in fairness with the jagged Dogtooth Range of the Purcell Mountains encircling the ski resort it’s hard to find a bad view. The Copper Horse Lodge also has an outdoor hot tub.

With only 10 rooms, the Copper Horse Lodge is a good choice for guests looking for a more traditional bed and breakfast accommodation as opposed to a condo-hotel.
