Kirkwood
Four new, luxury lodges opened in the village significantly increase overnight accommodations for visitors to the valley, and lodgings will be increased from the current overnight capacity of 2,000 to approximately 6,500.
The village plaza will connect to the Red Cliffs Day Lodge with additional plaza- level stores and restaurants. So Kirkwood’s overnight lodgings have increased substantially with the new village, but there are still no hotels within the resort.
Kirkwood Vacations rents privately owned slope-side accommodations including condominiums, lodges and cabins. Each unit is unique. All except singles feature a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fireplace, color TV and telephone. All units are conveniently located within walking distance from the slopes.
