Dating back to the 19th century, this atmospheric 3-star hotel is one of the oldest in Cauterets and is located in the centre of the resort, within easy walking distance of the Lys lift and with a handy backdoor entrance that guests can use that is just across the road from the Spa Les Bains du Rocher. The hotel has been run by the same family for five generations and the current owner manager, Thomas, is a former ski guide. It has a cosy bar (try the Apple Martini for an aperitif) and a good restaurant. It gets superb reviews from previous guests, including the Ultimate-ski reporters who have visited.
