Accommodation in Val Thorens
Val Thorens is very compact for the number of guests it accommodates, and there is almost every type of accommodation available. Practically everywhere is near a piste, so location is less important than in other resorts and accommodation providers have to compete on service, facilities and value for money.
Hotels in Val Thorens
Hotel Altapura, Hotel Pashmina Le Refuge, Hotel du Koh-I Nor and Hotel Fitzroy are all 5-star hotels and all have very high ratings from previous guests.
Of the 4 stars hotels, Fahrenheit Seven is currently the top rated by previous guests, but faces stiff competition from Hotel des 3 Vallees and Le Val Thorens. Hotel Marielle only opened as a 4-star hotel in 2020, so has not had as much time to garner good customer reviews, but it has excellent facilities (wellness centre, sauna, sun decks, kids play areas, etc).
The top rated 3 star is the Alberta but there are others snapping at its heels, like Hotel le Sherpa and Langley Hotel Tango.
