Verbier Ski Schools
The Swiss Ski & Snowboard School, La Fantastique and Adrenaline have run ski lessons in Verbier for a number of years, and also provide guiding. In the last few years a number of specialist operations have opened up. One of these is European Snowsport, a small English-run ski school that offers both ski and snowboard lessons as well as excellent ski clinics (for moguls, carving, off-piste, ladies-only and freestyle) as well as programmes for children and teenagers. The Warren Smith Ski Academy has a long association with Verbier and is well known for its innovative teaching approach, helping skiers to take their skiing to the next level.
Swiss Ski & Snowboard School Verbier
The biggest ski school in Verbier, the Swiss Ski & Snowboard School employs approximately 120 ski instructors and 25 snowboarding instructors, all highly qualified (level 3) and offers a typical range of instruction, private or group lessons (maximum size eight people). Altitude Ski & Snowboard School Verbier
Established in 2001 by ex-British Freestyle Team member Chris David, world freeride competitor Andre Sommer and Swiss ski instructor examiner Yves Guyot, Altitude is one of Verbier’s alternative ski and snowboard schools, offering high standards of tuition from a team of internationally qualified instructors, including 19 ski instructors and five snowboard instructors, and well-regarded for high levels of customer service.
