Ischgl Ski Schools & Guiding
Ischgl Ski School classes meet at Idalp, and the school is proud of its reputation for care and fast progress of students. Not all instructors speak good English (the British market here is dwarfed by the German), so it is wise to make sure you specify you need an English speaker when you book.

Every discipline is catered for – special carving classes, boarding, telemarking, cross-country, big foot and even mono skiing for that retro feel – and even experts will gain a lot from joining a class in Ischgl. It’s such a big area that you will get much more from your ski trip, and quickly be shown areas you may otherwise take days to find, if you take at least a days’ ski school. And the expert classes will push even very good skiers.

There is a kindergarten, run by the ski school at Idalp, for non-skiing children where they are looked after between 10am and 4pm. The ski kindergarten is for ages three to five, lunch included. The normal ski school takes children from five. For children there is also an enclosed learning area, complete with adventure garden and cartoon characters to ski through and around.
Ischgl is good for ski touring and the ski school is also the place to go to join a touring group. But these can get fully booked, so it is wise to make enquiries about the possibilities even before you arrive in the resort.
