Snowbasin
There is no on-mountain accommodation at Snowbasin, with most visitors instead preferring to stay nearby in either Eden or Huntsville towns situated to the north of the ski area, or in the busier but less proximate city of Ogden.
The closest accommodation to the mountain can be found in either Eden or Huntsville – small towns located just north of Snowbasin in Ogden Valley. A 10 mile drive from the ski area, Huntsville is the closest accommodation hub, though with a population of just 1,000, it is also the quietest. Jackson Fork Inn and Lakeside Resort Properties can be found in the outskirts of Huntsville, while Atomic Chalet represents a more central option.
The small community of Eden is situated 6 miles north of Huntsville and has a range of lodging options. Many visitors to Powder Mountain ski resort opt to stay at Eden making it a slightly busier option than Huntsville. The choice of accommodation available in Eden includes hotels such as Columbine Inn and Red Moose Lodge, and condos at Wolf Creek Resort.
For visitors wanting a livelier après ski than Eden or Huntsville have to offer, Ogden may be a good compromise. A 20 mile drive from the ski area, Ogden boasts a wider selection of restaurants and bars and, as a former major railway hub, has plenty of character too!
