Hotels in Val d’Isere
Most of the luxury hotels are concentrated in the centre of the resort. The 5-star Hotel Les Barmes De l’Ours is next to the Bellevarde Express and has an indoor swimming pool, a spa and wellness centre. The 5 star Hotel Christiana is slightly further away from the lifts and slopes but closer to the main drag but is equally luxurious. There are several good 4-star hotels but Hotel Tsanteleina regularly gets good reviews. It has an indoor pool, hot tub, a hammam and a sauna and is within 200m of the lifts. Of the 3 star hotels, Hôtel Avancher is within 5 minutes walk of the centre and consitently gets good reviews. There are also some budget hotels near the centre though such as the 2-star Le Kern.
Guests wanting more peace and quiet should look at Le Fornet and the other outlying hamlets such as Le Laisinant, Le Cret and Le Joseray. A well-rated 3-star hotel between the centre and le Cret (about a 4 minute walk into town) is Le Bellier and a good budget hotel in Le Cret is the 2 star Langley Hotel Grand Nord, but there are plenty of others so use the accommodation finder below not only to find hotels, but also check availability, compare prices, see locations and read previous guest reviews and ratings.
Self-catering apartments and chalets in Val d’Isere
Chalet Skadi offers luxury 5 star apartments with access to a sauna and swimming pool. One down from these in facilities, if not services, are the slopeside Les Chalets Du Jardin Alpin near the centre and the Residence Pierre & Vacances Les Balcons De Bellevarde in La Daille which are classified as ApartHotels because they offer meal delivery services for when you don’t want to cook.
There are more than 100 other self-catering apartments and chalets to choose from, however, including plenty of simple budget options. To search these, check availability, compare prices, see locations on a map and book online use the accommodation finder below.
