Ski Schools in Nassfeld
The options for children are impressive. Young children from 2 to 5 years of age can be looked after, with an element of ‘first steps on snow’, including ski equipment, helmet, lunch, drinks, indoor playing and sledging in the ‘children’s garden’ at Tressdorfer Alm. Daily, except Saturday, from 9.45 am until 3.30 pm.
It doesn’t matter where parents are staying, they can still take advantage of this option. From Tropolach, children are taken up to Tressdorfer Alm by the Millennium Express and, from the other villages of Sonnleitn and Sonnenalpe, transport is provided by the ski school. Children aged 4 to 14 can enrol in Bobo’s Children’s Club with lessons and a midday meal for 6 full days from 10.15 am to 3.30 pm. Adult group lessons, mornings only from 10.15 to 12.45 pm, are for 6 days. Private lessons can be booked for 1-3 hours or full-day.
A 3-day snowboard group class for 2½ half hours each day. Snowboard equipment, handily, can be rented at each ski school office.
The Nassfeld Ski School also offers courses aimed at teenagers during which they can try all the latest ways of sliding down the mountain on twin-tip skis, airboards, snowbikes, snowtubes or snowshoes.
