The nearest lift accesses to the main Arlberg ski area is at Stuben am Arlberg (8km) and at Lech-Zurs (15km), a 10-20 minutes’ drive.

Apartment Barbara comprises simple yet characterful apartment accommodation for nine people comprised in a large attractive detached house in its own garden in the centre of Wald am Arlberg.

The location is convenient for the ski lift to Sonnenkopf and lift access to the main Arlberg ski area at Stuben (8km) and Lech-Zurs (15km), is just a 10-20 minute by car or free shuttle bus, making Wald am Arlberg  a viable and cheaper alternative to the more expensive internationally renowned Arlberg ski resorts.

The apartment is pleasingly and quite traditionally appointed with lots of wood panelling and flooring and the odd piece of antique furniture sets it off nicely. Charming bedrooms are prettily finished in country fabrics and again loads of wood.

The apartment also includes a bathroom and separate showers, fully equipped and spacious kitchen area with living area and TV and an outdoor furnished terrace for relaxing outdoors in warmer weather.
