Driving to Stubaital

Coming from Innsbruck, the Stubai Glacier is readily accessible by Brenner Autobahn. Take Schönberg exit and continue along the Stubai federal road for some 30 kilometers until you reach the Mutterberg Base Terminal. Easy 45 minute local bus trip from in front of Innsbruck main station; look for the Stubaital Bus. There’s free parking at the gondola and though the free ski bus service gets packed at peak times, they lay on extra ones to help.
