Getting to Breckenridge is easy. Denver International Airport is  just 2-hours drive (103 miles) from the resort. Although Eagle County Regional Airport aka  ‘Eagle-Vail’ (72 miles) is closer, Denver International has many more flight options and is the most popular gateway for domestic and international visitors.

Breckenridge is located in north-central Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains on Colorado State Highway 9, 80 miles (129 km) west of Denver and 103 miles from Denver International Airport.

Driving to Breckenridge from the airport

Drive times should be around two hours (Denver) and 90 minutes (Eagle-Vail) assuming good weather. Bad weather can close I-70 at the Eisenhower tunnel which is on the way from Denver Airport. Usually, however, the Colorado Highway Dept. will reopen I-70 reasonably quickly. Only the most severe storms will close I-70 for more than 12-24 hrs.
