Copper Mountain
Copper has one major ski & snowboard school that can accommodate all skier and boarder types. The school meeting points are located at each base area, The East Village, The Village at Copper, and Union Creek.
Classes begin at 9:00 am and go on until 3:30 pm, with variable start times depending on the type of class. The largest group lesson is eight skiers. If you have young children remember that three years old is the minimum age for junior ski school, but the Belly Button childcare facility offers kindergarten for children from two months to three years. All children’s classes include lunch, and are of course supervised.
The Copper Ski & Snowboard School caters to freeriders and offers snowboarding sessions, women’s clinics, telemark clinics, and race clinics. For more information search the Copper Mountain website www.coppercolorado.com or call 888-229-9475. Mountain tours with a guide are available daily.
