Getting to Elk Mountain is easy by car. At around two and a half hours from both Philadelphia and the New York metropolitan area, Elk Mountain a great alternative to skiing in the Catskills and Poconos.

A car is the best way to reach Elk Mountain since there is no commercial bus or train service to the resort. Elk Mountain is located about 15 minutes off I-81 between Scranton and Binghamton.
