Getting to Grand Targhee

Getting to Grand Targhee is easy. Grand Targhee is most easily accessed by air via Jackson Hole Airport, which is 55 miles and about a one hour 20 minutes drive from Grand Targhee.

Nearest Airports to Grand Targhee

Jackson Hole Airport, in the middle of the majestic Grand Teton National Park, is the nearest airport to Grand Targhee. It is a scenic 1 hour 20 minute drive from the airport to the resort via the Teton Pass into Idaho before looping back into Wyoming near the base village.

The Idaho Falls Airport, about 90 miles from Grand Targhee, is another option, but it’s serviced by far fewer airlines. A third option, involving yet more driving, is to fly into Salt Lake City International Airport and then a roughly four hour drive north to Grand Targhee.

Airport Transfers to Grand Targhee

Jackson Hole AllTrans offers a transfer service via its Gray Line from Jackson Hole Airport to Grand Targhee Resort. AllTrans also offers a transfer service via it’s Mountain States Express from Salt Lake City Airport to the town of Jackson.

Other Transfer Services to Grand Targhee

The “Targhee Express” offers service Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to Grand Targhee. The fee for round trip transport and lift ticket is roughly $99.

Grand Targhee runs a shuttle from Driggs to the resort, but not from the Jackson Hole airport. AllTrans runs a shuttle from the Jackson Hole Airport to Grand Targhee, with a price varying depending on the number of passengers.
