The 4-star Hotel Berghof is one of the Tux valley’s most luxurious hotels, with good food and a focus on comfort and relaxation. The hotel is situated at 1,500 metres near the base of the Hintertux glacier and has an extensive array of indoor and outdoor spa facilities.

The hotel’s Crystal Spa facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, a crystal steam bath, a hot tub on the large rooftop terrace, spa showers and an indoor pool and sauna. A range of massage and beauty treatments are also available to guests, while visitors looking for slightly more activity can make use of the fitness room and the table tennis and billiards tables.

The hotel boasts stunning all-year round panoramic mountain views, with a communal sun terrace in addition to each room’s own balcony or terrace. The Berghof has its own bar and lounge area, while – typically for high end hotels in the area – the hotel restaurant offers gourmet dining with a focus on Tyrolean specialities. 

The Hintertux glacier ski lifts are the nearest ski lifts to the hotel – roughly a 10 minute walk away or a short ride on the free ski bus, while the Rastkogelbahn is only a few minutes further in the opposite direction and provides visitors with the option of skiing over towards Mayrhofen in the linked Zillertal 3000 ski area.

There are also a range of activities which draw guests to the Berghof in the summer, including hiking and cycling trails – in addition to the hotel’s spa facilities.
