The Hotel Der Rindererhof is situated immediately beside the Hintertux Glacier cable car, offering almost instant access to the snowsure ski area. The hotel is itself located 1,500 metres above sea level, and offers a classic Tyrolean base in the midst of the mountains.

The hotel’s location at the end of the Tux valley means it is ideally located for keen skiers visiting the area specifically to explore the glacier.

The small village of Hintertux is a 10 minute walk back up the valley, with a couple of bars in which you can grab a drink – though most guests tend to relax in their own hotel. 

The Rindererhof has a choice of spa facilities including a steam bath, sauna and a hot tub, while there is also the option of using the indoor pool at a nearby hotel.

The majority of the hotel’s rooms feature a balcony with scenic mountain views, while there is free private parking on site. The rooms are spacious and classically furnished, featuring satellite TV, hairdryers and other standard amenities.
