Surrounded by the views of the majestic mountains of Banff, the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa is an attractive hotel. The hotel exterior is made of hand hewn logs and the warm ambience of the interior includes an oversized lobby where families and friends can relax on comfy chairs and sofas warmed by the crackling fire in the fieldstone fireplace. Most of the guests can be found here planning their day’s adventures or unwinding at the end of their day exchanging stories that live on to be great memories.

The “new” sophisticated guest rooms at the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa were fully renovated in 2010, featuring locally hand crafted wrought iron headboards and accessories displayed throughout the guest rooms. Bathrooms have modern tile and granite countertops and are accented with hand crafted wrought iron fixtures leaving clean straight lines and a polished look. Custom finished wood frames out the entire guest room, from the extra shelving in the bathroom and bedroom, to the full length mirror. The rooms are topped off with improved yet tasteful lighting. The theme of Caribou antlers is carried throughout each guest room.

Unique art work is displayed in each guest room at the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa showcasing the natural scenes from the Rocky Mountains; beautiful photographs printed on large canvas featuring tall forests, brightly colored leaves and lavender fields. When retiring for the night, settle back in our famous mountain luxury bed, wrapped in foliage printed duvet cover, a place where you will sleep well.

Standard Rooms at the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa are located on the first level or are located on higher floors facing an outdoor courtyard. The Superior Rooms are located on the higher floors, have the option of a balcony and face the exterior of the hotel. Both room types offer new LCD televisions, and MP3 compatible alarm clocks. The Deluxe Loft Suites are great for guests looking for more space and a wood burning fireplace. Each Suite has an open loft bedroom with a king size bed and full bathroom, and the main level has a living room with a wood burning fire and a half bathroom. One Suite also has a private Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom.

Dining at the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa

Directly across from the welcoming lobby you’ll find the famous Keg Steakhouse and Bar, a casual steakhouse with contemporary flavour. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will make you welcome andfeel relaxed in a casual setting. When dining choose from our long list of tasty steak options made to order and our award winning wine list or just enjoy a cold beer on tap with one of our many other menu options. You’ll find a truly satisfying dining experience that will keep you coming back for more. You can also choose to dine downtown at our second location for the Keg Steakhouse and bar.

The Red Earth Spa

Within the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa is the Red Earth Spa, a place where you can soak your body and relax your mind. The Red Earth Spa is a full service spa with six treatment rooms including one dedicated to hydrotherapy, an aesthetics room with two manicure stations and two pedicure chairs.

Red Earth Spa offers complimentary use of the large heated pool, located beside a pristine water wall with soft lighting and neutral colored designer stonework; you may also enjoy the steam room and the exercise studio. Relaxing areas provide comfort for guests to rest before, in-between or after a treatment; herbal teas, water and fruit are available for these guests.
