Hotel Bellevue Terminus is a 3-star hotel in the heart of Engelberg, surrounded by the Urner Alps. The hotel has a striking modern designed interior that creates a chilled yet stylish environment. Guests are served excellent food and refreshing cocktails in the hotel’s bars and restaurants.

Hotel Bellevue Terminus is a 3-star hotel  and as its name suggests it is right by the railway station in the centre of Engelberg. Guests can reach the two main cable cars that go up to the Urner ski area with an 11-minute walk. The Belle Epoque exterior is a grand and dominating presence with the spreading Urner Alps behind it and is over 100 years old. The interiors have been part completely modernised as a contemporary reinterpretation of Belle Epoque and these reflect a bright modern design with neon colours – actually refreshingly good.

The renovated rooms and suites at Hotel Bellevue, categorised as 3-star superior, have been designed with stylish modern amenities and use of bright colours following the main theme. These come ensuite with striking modern bathrooms, have free Wi-fi, Ipod dock and TV. The 33 not yet renovated rooms in the north wing  are more simple, some with just wash handbasins and shared corridor bathrooms and these are budget priced.

The hotel’s restaurant serves good dishes of international cuisine using fresh, organic produce to ensure a high standard is delivered. An a la carte or breakfast buffet is available to guests staying in junior suite accommodation or higher priced rooms. The Bellevue hotel also has two bars, including the elegant café lounge bar, where guests can enjoy a relaxing drink. Dining half board is in a fresh modern dining room or if you want something more lively there is the Yucatan trend food restaurant which has live music evenings.

No spa yet but arrangements can be made for guests to use the facilities at the Eienwaldli Hotel nearby.

There is free Wi-fi coverage, ski storage facilities and a nearby shuttle bus service that runs to the main lifts. Guests can also visit the nearby Titlis Golf Club during the Summer.
