Treff Hotel Sonnwendhof is a smaller 3-star hotel quietly located near the heart of Engelberg, allowing guests to reach the Titlis cable car, one of the main ski lifts in under a five minute walk. The hotel has been designed with a classic Swiss alpine look with white rendered façade and dark timber eaves and balconies. The interior keeps the theme going and this creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in this relatively simple hotel.

Rooms follow this design with lots of wood and all come ensuite, include a TV and superb views of the Urner Alps.

Guests can dine in the hotel’s restaurant that has a simple but tasteful Swiss design. The restaurant serves a four course dinner and  guests can enjoy traditional Swiss dishes made to a high standard. There is also the dinner buffet option as well at the hotel’s sister hotel, the Ramada Hotel Regina Titlis, that offers a wider choice.

Guests can also relax in the hotel’s own sauna and fitness area or again use the facilities at the Ramada which include an indoor designer pool, hot tub and steam room.  Guests can also wander onto the garden terrace during warmer weather to relax with a drink in the sun.
