The Gasthof Eggerwirt is a 3-star Superior Hotel in Kitzbühel just a short walk to the main lift station and the ski-bus stops, offering very comfortable accommodation on a half-board basis. Tyrolean tradition meets modern comfort in this original Kitzbühel hostelry, which is family run.

Situated in central Kitzbühel just a short distance away from the Hannenkahm lift station, the Gasthof Eggerwirt is really charming superior 3-star hotel providing very comfortable and elegantly appointed accommodation.

The traditional chalet façade of this beautiful building is decorated in old Tyrolean style with shuttered windows and proudly draped with the Austrian flag, which seems appropriate given that the Eggerwirt (‘Wirt’ means ‘Inn’) has been in the hospitality business since the 17th century.

Current owners the Herchenberger family have been running things here for four generations and the Eggerwirt underwent a major renovation in 2007. Last year they were awarded ‘Superior’ grade by the Chamber of Commerce.

Airy rooms decorated in country house fabrics and lots of wood have flatscreen TV, free Wi-Fi and of course en suite bathrooms.

Regional cooking is served in the conservatory style dining room and the Gansbachstube bar is popular with locals.
